Jackson Griffith is a singer-songwriter and multi-disciplined artist from Warner Robins, GA. Jackson received his BA in Applied Art and Design at Middle Georgia State University in the fall of 2023.

In addition to songwriting, Jackson also utilizes design, drawing, photography, and sculpture to share his perspective on the world.

Jackson began his career writing simple love songs and playing at open mics in late 2015. He began playing at small venues in Macon, Perry, and the surrounding Middle Georgia area. After a few failed starts with other producers, Jackson collaborated with fellow singer/songwriter, Sean Solo, on his debut EP, “Brink of the Lower Falls” which released in the spring of 2020. When the global events of 2020 took place, Jackson decided to go back to school to pursue a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, then later pivoted to a BA in Graphic Design.

In the October of 2023, Jackson released ‘Tired of 23’ a 6 song project that was accompanied by an art exhibition of the same name. The project combined sculpture, photography, graphic design, and music to explore the struggles and frustrations of living in your early 20’s.

Jackson has played at venues such as, Middle Georgia State University, Society Garden, and The Capitol Theatre.

Jackson draws inspiration from artists like Vance Joy, The Lumineers, Billy Joel, Jack Johnson, and Otis Redding. Jackson’s heart-on-sleeve approach to writing results in songs that feel like letters that were lost in transit.

“I have always been interested in telling stories, but not necessarily grandiose epics, or avant-garde narratives. I find beauty in small moments, in the little stories. I use songwriting to explore the human experience through my own stories.”
